Yesterday was National Farmer's Day in the United States which is celebrated to honor the hard work and contributions of farmers.

Thanks to genetic science, fertilizer improvements, better pest controls, engineering advances and crop farmers’ skills, we have increased global cropland area by only 30%, average yields by 400% and total crop harvest by 600%...amazing!

Our family business is honored to be selected as a Columbus Smart 50 Award recipient! 🎉

At this event, they recognized the top executives of 50 companies in the Central Ohio region for their ability to effectively innovate, build, sustain and lead smart organizations. I am not too sure about the “smart” definition, but I am very proud of the team of managers, drivers, warehouse staff, executives, office staff and officers we have assembled over the years who could make any leader look smart. This award is a testament to their daily efforts.
