We have a great mini-pie menu for this Father's Day weekend. Mini pies are available starting tomorrow, Thursday, the 18th, until sold out. We recommend coming early for the best selection:

Our mini pie measures 6 inches and feeds 2 people, or one very hungry one!

The store is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

🍓💚🍓💚🍓The photos are from today. There are still strawberries to pick, but you have to be diligent and persistent about it. Remember that tomorrow and Tuesday, the 16th, are likely the last 2 days to pick strawberries by the flat. We will be closed on Wednesday, 14th - there is more rain that day.

📣📣📣📣U-pick raspberries officially start on Thursday. You can use the same "BOOK NOW" button on our website to sign up for raspberries as you did for strawberries. And while you are here picking raspberries, you are welcome to hunt for more strawberries. But, once agaian, we highly recommend picking strawberries before that - this Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday is also the last day to ride the tractor.

Unfortunately, there are only a few days left for strawberry picking. It has rained heavily pretty much every other day for the past week. We have sandy soils, so the water does drain, and there is really no mud. But the plants and berries have been constantly wet for the past week without any reprieve. It is a matter of days before all of the ripe fruit spoils from this level of moisture. We should have reasonable picking through Tuesday, after which there is more rain. If green berries come through this, we might have smaller pickings after Tuesday next week - we will let you know. But we recommend coming out in the next 3 days if you are looking to fill the flat. The berries are here, but quite a few of them are past their prime, so you have to pay attention when picking.

On a good note, our raspberries are looking amazing, and should be ready for u-pick towards the end of next week. We will keep you up to date.

🍓Fresh strawberry pie is finally here! Our strawberry pie is made from scratch, like all our pies, with strawberries grown at Granger location. It's out of this world treat available only for a short time during strawberry season.

💚We had vanilla rhubarb custard on the last round of mini pies, and apparently, we didn't make nearly enough - some of you missed out and have been asking for it. So, here they are as promised. Available this Friday and weekend until sold out.

🥧We don't do minis of our double-crust pies because we already do hand pies, which are pies made in the shape of pastry, so it's easier to eat. Here are the flavors available for this weekend - strawberry rhubarb, apple, peach, cherry, and blueberry.

🍒And, last but not least, we have mini oatmeal crisps - fresh fruit, oats, butter, brown sugar... need I say more?😋 We have the large sizes in the freezer, ready to be baked, and minis baked and ready to eat. The flavors are strawberry rhubarb, cherry, peach, apple, and rhubarb.

🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓 Unfortunately, today's picking was canceled due to the weather. The silver lining is we now have extra berries to pick tomorrow, Friday, June 12th. We are fortunate to have fairly sandy soil here, so the rainfall should be mostly drained by tomorrow. And with these high winds, the plants should dry quickly as well. The gravel on our drive path was one of the best decisions we ever made. 🙂

❗ Sadly, the amount of rainfall we received in the last week is going to shorten the strawberry picking season significantly. After this weekend, we will have to reassess day by day.

💜💜 As for good news, raspberries are looking amazing. They are still greenish and growing off the ground, unlike strawberries, so they are handling this rainfall very well so far. We will post pictures soon. Raspberry picking should start sometime next week. You can use the same link to sign up once we officially announce raspberry picking here.
P.S. Apparently, Facebook does not have a raspberry emoji?! 😦🤷🤷

STRAWBERRY PICKING IS CANCELED TODAY, THURSDAY, JUNE 11TH❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗

Unfortunately, we have to cancel strawberry picking for today due to the heavy storms. While the weather app predicts them to be done by 9 AM, it will be too wet to return to the fields immediately. They need a day to drain all this water - we received 0.5 inches last night as well. We apologize for any inconvenience. You will receive an email with a gift card code that can be used to rebook your picking spots for later this week or for upcoming raspberry picking. Just make sure to enter your gift card number as shown in the attached photo when you book your new picking spots/tickets.

There are quite a few spots open right now to sign up for picking on Tuesday and Wednesday. They look warm, but we are into our peak season with a lot of juicy red berries ready to fill flats and bellies. So we encourage you to sign up; we have cold drinks to keep you hydrated and going. Thursday, 11th, through Sunday, 14th, are currently full. There are some chances of rain, so we are holding off for a couple more days before adding more spots until the rain consolidates, so we can make some decisions.
