We had to move the cow milking stanchion. It was in the pen in a hard to get to spot. The dirt had washed out around the tree between the gate and the stanchion so dragging the milking wagon over the roots was a chore in itself and had become a two person job since it is also on a slope and the wagon always wanted to flip over.
This is soooo much better. Easier for us to get too and maintain, plus now we can get to her on either side.
The plan it to build a roof over the top so we will be dry on rainy days and I want to run power over there so I will not need to use an extension cord from the chick barn, the project is not over yet!
She was confused at first as to why her stanchion was gone and then she was not sure if she wanted to go in the new one but it only took about 2.5 minutes to convince her to go in so that was nice.
