Must try (& hard to get) desserts in Utah!
Here are some of my most favorite sweets treat shops (with limited time offerings) in Salt Lake & Utah County:
Doki Doki | Irie Cao - Japanese crepe cakes, especially the passionfruit one! Storefront closed 2026, but the owner is doing pop-ups whenever she is back in town. Follow their IG for pop-up dates
Chubby Baker | Utah Asian Desserts - Asian inspired donuts, especially love the passionfruit cream donut! Storefronts closed late 2025 but follow their IG closely for surprise pop-up dates
Bubba’s Frozen Treats - peach crumbler, only available for a few weeks each year - 2026 season has ended so you'll have to wait until next August
Blacksmith Ice Cream Co. - love the berry cheesecake flavor the most, they always have great monthly flavors too. Don't let the long lines scare you, they move fast
Forty Three Bakery - assorted fruit mousse desserts and pastries, if you ever see a filled croissant on the menu be sure to get it too, menu is always changing
Momo's Gourmet Cheesecake - honey lavender, passionfruit, and raspberry lime cheesecakes are my favorite! GF options also available, flavors change weekly
Vinci Authentic Gelato - my fave is the tiramisu, all the way down in Provo but is the best gelato you'll find
RubySnap Fresh Cookies - love the February flavors, as well the blueberry lemon Zoey cookie which is always around
