We had a great summer with Craig! From hauling manure to vaccinating cattle and sorting market hogs in the pig barn, Craig saw it all! We can’t thank him enough for all of his hard work and dedication to our farm.

Also featured is his labor of love on Annett Burke Cattle Company ‘s show heifer Sabrina. He spend weeks working hair on her to make sure she was looking spot on for the Ohio State Fair! (She got 1st in class and 3rd in class on her two show days!)

Best of Luck to Craig as he heads into the Hartford Fair! We are rooting for you! 💚

We broke our new intern in well this past week! Craig helped us castrate 20 hd of calves in the calf barn!
We would also like to introduce Craig McMillen to the farm this summer. He is our livestock herdsman intern! He’s currently in school at Ohio State ATI, majoring in Livestock Production. Not to mention he is very active on the livestock judging team up there!
If you see Craig around, give him a wave and say hello! 👋 He will be helping here and at A/B Cattle prepping the show heifer for summer shows and eventually helping Amanda break and start future sale prospects!

We are excited to have him!

‼️Update‼️
due to unforeseen circumstances we will not have any calves for sale at this time. We have not received enough calves from January thru March to have enough for our own commercial feedlot let alone for fair calves (we’ve only gotten 20 hd since Jan 1.)
We apologize for the inconvenience.
As long as things straighten around for next year we plan to sell calves in 2027.

‼️DAIRY MARKET FEEDER FOLKS! ‼️
We’ve gotten a lot of calls and texts about or 2026 calf sale. We would like to announce we will not be having a sale this year. But, do not fear we will still be selling calves PRIVATE TREATY!
If you are a previous buyer from 2025 we would like you to reach out to us to get on the list first.
If you are a new buyer or are interested in looking at out cattle for the first time please reach out to us. Just know to keep it fair we will be allowing our pre-existing customers the right to sort thru the cattle first. From there calves will be available via first come first serve. We are doing this in hopes to be able to sell calves sooner to hit more county fairs in the area!

Approximately 15-20 head will sell, they will all be priced accordingly. All calves sell weaned, vaccinated and castrated .
