This morning I am thankful for great neighbors.

One of my cage doors was left open (by me or my kids) and one of my Creme growouts escaped overnight and ventured into the neighbors yard. Thankfully she saw it and let me know. After about 20 mins she was able to get hands on it. It screamed like a pig and bucked like a bronco, but she held on strong.

I have ordered locks for my cages and will now have a new line item on nightly checklist. Here’s a pic of the little as***le 🫠

The rabbits have hit the enrichment jackpot this last week. I was able to snag a good size apple tree branch from my parents house and the storms that came through knocked a branch off my neighbors willow tree that they generously let me have. Keeping the rabbits brain busy is one of my top priorities.

I did it. I cancelled my rabbitry software subscription.

After months of not being happy with my pedigree software and trialing other, I cancelled my subscription.

Yesterday, I took the time (lots of time 😅) to generate my own pedigree on Excel. I then set up different worksheets to track my litters and the current rabbits in my rabbitry. So far I’m really happy with how things are looking. AND I can still pull things up on my phone. Thanks, cloud 🤪

So let this be your sign that if you’re not happy with the software you are paying for, take the leap and set up something that 100% work for you 🧡

How are these kits about to be 8 weeks. Can’t wait to get them out and do their first evaluation 🧡
