Tomato plants now available at the stand. We also have some pepper plants and herbs. It’s still hot out, but it’s a great time to get tomatoes planted for a fall harvest. The plants love it as the weather cools.
We had a great harvest of sweet potatoes this year in our newest garden area. Lots of different sizes, but our favorites are the little ones. Cook super fast in an air fryer, tender and creamy.

Tomato plants ready soon for fall gardeners! Cherry, Juliet, Better Boy and Cherokee Purple varieties. Plants will be available in half gallon pots for quicker production. We also have a small selection of squash and cucumber plants. Cool crop plants for sale later this month and into September. As August begins, we start planning and looking forward to our fall gardens. The heat has limited the variety currently at the stand, but there are still items to enjoy. At the stand this weekend: okra, sweet potatoes (orange and purple flesh), onions, cucumbers, summer squash, winter squash, peppers, pickles and baked goods. As the season closes for artichokes, now our bees can enjoy it. Amazing blooms and fragrance from this really cool plant.

Lots of shish*to peppers at the stand this weekend. If you haven’t tried this pepper, come grab some! Great as an appetizer or side dish, pan roasted with a yogurt dipping sauce. We also have onions! Reds, whites and sweet 1015 yellows. Also available this weekend: cucumbers, beets, sweet and spicy peppers, potatoes, spaghetti squash, swiss chard, pickles, baked goods and a limited amount of tomatoes.
