Directly from the hive, through the extractor then through cheesecloth followed by 1000 micron mesh and lastly through 500 micron mesh before it hits the jar.

We had the pleasure of teaching LaSalle county fourth graders about bees. From the importance of bees to harvesting honey they learned all they could today. We were able to break out the observation hive and let the kids see how a working hive operates with live bees 🐝.
