Introducing “Nox”✨🌑

We are offering FYC this lovely 6 year old Morgan/Friesian cross. He is unregistered and we affectionately call him “Nox” around the barn. He is about 15hh but stocky, taking up a lot of leg with a thick stature.

He is barefoot with huge amazing feet. He has lots of trail riding experience. He has been reliable under saddle, taking care of his rider, but is a bit anxious in new environments right now because he has been out of work (through no fault of his own- owners have no indoor and it was a long winter).

In the ring, he has 3 incredible gaits. His walk is to die for, and his trot is springy with a natural passage and extension. Lateral work is easy for him. His canter is very nice but he hasn’t been trained to canter much in the ring so he will need time to find his balance.

He is an extremely energetic horse and although his disposition is very honest, he needs a balanced and confident rider because he is so forward thinking.

Grateful to have survived the storm & to have been able to get everyone out today. The horses were so happy in the snow ❄️ so glad they get to go out and be horses.

Hi everyone
On Wednesday night Nick and I got a devastating call. One of our Singing Winds farm team members’ home barns was on fire. All of our worst nightmares. We got there as her barn was burning to the ground & she lost one of her horses. The other two were out, thank goodness, but are now displaced. Gina is one of the kindest, most selfless people & we would love nothing more than to help her rebuild her barn. We had a great full day of lessons and training today, we try not to let winter bring us down! So appreciative of our wonderful staff and clients and these amazing horses!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Singing Winds Farm! We are grateful every single day for our slice of heaven. We are grateful for our team, families, clients, and most of all the amazing horses that give this place life (in addition to our remarkable sunsets…)
