Big shoutout to and Chef Paul!

Yesterday at Sacramento Foodie Fest, I had the chance to connect with over 75 food vendors and more than 20 behind-the-scenes vending stations — learning, networking, tasting food, and preparing for the growth of Brisket Daddy BBQ as we gear up for our upcoming multi-day events.

But let me tell you… the one vendor that truly stood out to me was Lumpia Bucket. I ordered the Chicken Lumpia Supreme and WOW… absolutely out of this world 🤯🔥 The flavors, presentation, and overall experience were top-tier. Between that and the oysters from the booth next door, those were hands down my favorite bites of the entire festival.

More than the food though, Chef Paul was one of the coolest and most genuine people I met all day. He dropped so much valuable game and insight about the food business, large-scale vending, and what it takes to succeed at major events. I’m grateful for the conversation and inspired by the level they’re operating on.

If you haven’t been yet, Sacramento Foodie Fest ends TONIGHT at 10PM! Get out there, support these amazing vendors, and make sure you stop by the Lumpia Bucket stand. TRUST ME. You’ll thank me later. 🔥🔥🔥

Today I’m thinking about all the moms out there.

The ones who fed everyone twice and still ate last.

The ones who packed lunches that somehow tasted better than anyone else’s.

The ones who turned ordinary Sundays into the meals we still talk about.

Mission accomplished I made it on Florin Rd overnight. Big shot out to Pops are coming through and staying with me. Mission accomplished set up is done. Today’s briskets are looking amazing and I was able to feed a few unhoused guys. My kitchen is clean all my dishes are clean ribs on for today. See you at 11 o’clock 2251 Florin Rd.

I had the wonderful experience of traveling to DC last week to do some video work for a great repeat client. I also took a fully cooked 10 pound brisket to DC and made up sandwiches for the production crew in my hotel room. The Smokey smell ended up outside my room and I ended up feeding 4 guest, the restaurant bartenders, waiters, and then the hotel restaurant GM all the way up to the executive chef at the DC Marriott hotel. I told him to make sure to get some to the dishwasher as they matter most in my kitchen. Well long story short I got to meet my cousin who works for the federal government so I can’t tell you her position. (She got a custom-made classic Brisket Daddy Sandwich) The best parts is I made some new great relationships, I ❤️ in DC and got a great review from the bartender.
Now to the edit bay for their video and to get ready for our Pop Up this Saturday at 2251 Florin Rd 11 o’clock. Yes, I operate rain or shine. See you there. Come get this
