These two pictures are a year and a half apart and taken in the same spot in the field. During the hurricanes we had 80-90% of the trees uprooted because the canopies outgrew the roots. This is the growth achieved by concentrating on roots and not worrying about canopy growth. Happy roots make sweeter fruit

From the tiny bloom to the giant mandarin! Little Wade says they taste like candy and he's a candy expert! The juice vesicles are large, crisp, and bursting with flavor which is noticeably sweeter than standard oranges. Be sure to try this "mandarin candy" when harvest season arrives!
