Happy Fri-yay!! 💛
I’ve had my 🍑 handed to me the last few days with some sort of upper respiratory nonsense, but thankfully it finally seems to be retreating. With the past few days being just the bare minimum around here, there’s lots to play catch up on, but I’m excited to try to get back to normal and even more excited to be able to breath while doing so.

I think Tater has finally met his match and is getting a bit of payback for all of his wild antics 🧡

The zinnias are finally gracing us with their presence 💖
I planted one little packet of seeds last year and fell in love with how beautiful and effortless they were. So of course, it’s now an obsession and I’ve planted zinnias just about everywhere a zinnia could be planted and I’m not even mad at myself about it. Now to cross pollinate all the pretties and see what fun things will come from the seeds next year.

My new little friend 💚
I’ve always found carnivorous plants to be fascinating! Venus fly traps are actually native plants here in NC, but are only found within about 100 miles of Wilmington. They thrive in acidic, wet, nutrient deficient soil and supplement their nutritional needs by ingesting insects.

When you’ve gone too far down the rabbit hole and now you have actual rabbits to take care of 🐰
