Hoebe's Smoke 'N Meats

Here's a new product from Hoebe's Smoke 'N Meats that will really help you bring in some big flavor for a simple meal. This Beef Barbacoa was seasoned with Hoebe's Southwest Seasoning, smoked over wood fire until a nice bark was developed and then braised in sliced onions and barbacoa consume until tender and juicy. Barbacoa is a smokey savory (not spicy) beef stock mixture with Chipotle and Guajillo Peppers, citrus, Garlic, Cumin, Paprika, and Chili Powder.

Having a day off yesterday allowed for a Beef Barbacoa Taco treat. Heated the beef up in a skillet and topped with diced tomato, queso fresco, diced red onion and some dashes of Hoebe's Peach Habanero Hot Sauce. Freaking easy... and delicious!!! A 1lb package for $15 would make easily 8 street tacos like this!

Mr. Blake and I are ready for a smashing good time here at Hoebe's Smoke 'N Meats with the Smashburger Triple Threat w/ Open Mic Night. Starts serving at 6pm. Come in and choose from four smashburgers on the menu tonight and then enjoy an evening of great local talent, craft Bolo Beer Co., and a beautiful beer garden.

3oz freshly in-house ground and seasoned smashburger options will be single patties with a side of Deviled Egg Pasta Salad for $14. Make it a double for $3 or add kettle chips for $2.

Smashburger Series Menu:

- Blue Cheese Mousse Burger: 3oz smash with scratch-made Blue Cheese Mousse and Onion Bacon Jam.

- Hashy Smashy: 3oz hash patty with hashbrowns mixed in and topped with an Egg & Cheese Omellet.

- Barbacoa Burger: 3oz smash with smoked pulled beef barbacoa and white queso.

- K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Smah): 3oz smash with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion.

One thing I struggle with is trying to highlight the products available. Without having a storefront many of the products are out of sight, but they are here in my kitchen at Bolo Beer Co. So... stop by and simply ask me to explain them all for you! During non-taproom hours, just come in the west door. I am almost always here making sausage, smoking meats, preparing for caterings and events, or Friday night meals at Bolo Beer Co.

Currently, there is a great supply of Original, Green Onion Garlic, and Jalapeno Beef Sticks as well as Jerky. This week, a fresh supply of Spicy Smoked Chex Mix and Carolina Gold Chex Mix were made and is a great bar, river, or road trip snack.

Also, checkout Hoebe's Smoke 'N Meats rubs! The BBQ Rub is a universal rub used on anything from pork, brisket, chicken and is even great on potatoes or popcorn! And if you've ever had a burger from Hoebe's you've enjoyed the lightly seasoned flavor which is gained using Hoebe's Burger Blend! Or how about some of that Prime Rib Rub used on slow roasted beef!

Texas Country and Red Dirt Radio is coming to downtown Valentine, Nebraska on August 1st.

We just dropped a new blog taking a closer look at Chaser Crouch and Bailey Rae and why they are such a strong fit for the Humdinger Block Party.

What makes this event even more special is Bailey Rae’s family ties to Valentine and the real connection both artists have to the kind of western culture that inspired Spur Radio and Humdinger Boots in the first place.

Its gonna be a great night to take in Valentine! Go checkout Valentine's Main Street Art Walk and then come down to Bolo Beer Co. for some craft Bolo Beer and craft food from Hoebe's Smoke 'N Meats. Serving up Chicken Queso Nachos tonight starting at 6pm! Gearing up for a great Memorial Day weekend here at Hoebe's Smoke 'N Meats starting out with Chicken Pita & Mediterranean Bean Salad tonight at Bolo Beer Co. starting at 6pm. Here's a sneak peak! The Chicken Pita filling is mixed up and ready for dressing and the Mediterranean White Bean Salad is marinating in its mixture of Butter Beans, Navy Beans, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Feta Cheese!

There is also (3) 4x9 inch pans of Hoebe's Cheese Curd Potatoes available for purchase for $20 each.

AND... our friend at Humdinger Boots has another great sale going on today and tomorrow with a Boot Trade-in! Mr. Blake will be setup at Humdinger Boots from 10am-1pm this Saturday selling all Hoebe's products for your Memorial Weekend grilling and gatherings.
