The after party is at Vallejo Brewing this Saturday and Sunday from 6:30pm to close.

You guys ran through our first batch of Deep Cavern, imperial stout aged in Whiskey barrels, so we are brewing another batch! This time around, we are tossing Deep Cavern into seven year aged Rye Whiskey barrels from Prohibition Spirits from Napa.

Keep an eye, we will be pulling this stout of the barrels in around six months!!

In the meantime, the last barrels from the previous batch will be in tank within the month with cocoa nibs and coffee beans, called Mocha Echoes.

John Anaya, the Head Brewer at King Cong Brewing and I have a long history. We started together at Heretic in 2013. He eventually became the Quality Control Manager and I the Head Brewer. He and his brewery are known for high quality incredible beers.

We did a collaborative West Coast IPA with them (I will not forget amazing salesman Alex joining as well).
