Yes, the Breba crop of our figs started this week! Very limited amount…so big and sweet!

Did you know that was the very first farm to join the Little Italy farmers market 15 years ago? Bob and Mary loved the neighborhood but they were a little skeptical that people in tiny condos would buy big bags of oranges. We said “start with smaller bags and let’s see how it goes.” The rest is history. Farmer Bob is bringing the first St John’s Adriatic figs of the season to market this Saturday. Welcome him back for his 784th Little Italy Mercato. Thanks for believing in us Bob!

Currently we are doing 3 Farmers' Markets:
Wednesday: Santa Monica -- 2nd & Arizona 8am-1pm
Friday: Venice - 500 Venice Blvd 7-11 am
Saturday: Little Italy Mercato, San Diego - Date St 8am-2pm
In season fruits are: Valencia, navel & blood oranges, tangerines, tangelos, Oroblanco & Star Ruby Grapefruits and lemons plus a variety of in season juices .

We will be at the Wednesday Santa Monica Farmers' Market tomorrow. Our setup will be different so that we all maintain social distancing. Look forward to seeing you.

Main crop Adriatic Figs and Brown Turkey figs available tomorrow at the Mercato. First of the summer--quantities limited. We served the Adriatics as hors d'oeuvres tonight stuffed with goat cheese. (we add a little cream and honey to make the goat cheese spreadable) Delicious and stunning!
