Currently we are doing 3 Farmers' Markets:
Wednesday: Santa Monica -- 2nd & Arizona 8am-1pm
Friday: Venice - 500 Venice Blvd 7-11 am
Saturday: Little Italy Mercato, San Diego - Date St 8am-2pm
In season fruits are: Valencia, navel & blood oranges, tangerines, tangelos, Oroblanco & Star Ruby Grapefruits and lemons plus a variety of in season juices .

Main crop Adriatic Figs and Brown Turkey figs available tomorrow at the Mercato. First of the summer--quantities limited. We served the Adriatics as hors d'oeuvres tonight stuffed with goat cheese. (we add a little cream and honey to make the goat cheese spreadable) Delicious and stunning!

Dr Bob Polito, founder with his wife Rose, of Polito Farms, joined his loving Savior on August 13th. Beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, healer, farmer, golfer and a man of God, died on the ranch, surrounded by his family. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen

Seville Oranges are being harvested right now! We will have them at the Little Italy Mercato Farmers Market tomorrow and at our LA Markets.next week. Special orders are suggested.... Sevilles are famous for classic orange marmalade. The juice makes a great margarita!
