Our Story

We are a four generation family of passionate food lovers, located on our family grove, in beautiful San Diego County, Southern California.

We started this crazy good oil movement, being the FIRST U.S.A. producers of Extra Virgin Avocado Oil and only the second company in the world to bring this oil into consumers homes. You are looking at the experts.....knowledge gained from hours of hard work and dedication and a whole lot of striving for perfection. No longer an unknown niche oil, we’ve pioneered a movement that will last for generations to come. Avocado Oil is now a gourmet staple in most North American kitchens, and we are proud of being the passionate group of people that made that happen.

We didn’t jump on the bandwagon of a great idea, we forged that idea out of a dream and endless hours of work. We continue to be relentless in our pursuit of quality, taste and one of the most sought after oils in the world.

First and foremost, we are farmers, and our name goes hand-in-hand with the farm to fork movement. We aren’t a large corporation simply stamping our brand on oils purchased from unknown companies. All our oil is made either by one of our family members or a partner that we’ve forged long-term relationships with and painstakingly taught them our craft. Every bottle that ships from us, is filled with our knowledge and expertise. A tradition we continually are proud to share with the world.

Hello! Sent you a PM. Looking for local retailers of your lovely unrefined avocado oil.
In the last few weeks, I’ve let carbs be my “default food.” After all, they are sooo easy… all you have to do is open a bag! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve decided to make a few changes. I have to cut the carbs. ✂ Lettuce wraps to the rescue. 🏆 And, not just any lettuce wraps, these are my FAVORITE from PF Changs. INGREDIENTS: ◘ 1 tsp avocado oil [I 💛 Bella Vado - California Avocado Oil] ◘ 1 lb ground chicken ◘ 3-4 cloves garlic [minced] ◘ 1 med white onion [diced] ◘ ¼ cup hoisin sauce [I 💛 Full Circle Market] ◘ 2 tbs tamari or soy sauce ◘ 1 tbs rice wine vinegar [I 💛 Marukan Vinegar] ◘ 3 tbs freshly grated ginger ◘ 1-2 tsp sriracha sauce ◘ 2 green onions [thinly sliced] ◘ 1 tbs everything but the bagel seasoning [from ] DIRECTIONS: ① In a large sauté pan, add avocado oil & ground chicken. ② Cook on medium until slightly browned [about 7-8 min]. ③ Place cooked chicken in a bowl and return the pan to the stove. Add in a touch more oil & onion. Cook until slightly brown. Then, add garlic & ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes. ④ Add liquid ingredients — hoisin, tamari [or soy sauce] & rice vinegar. Stir and add the chicken back to the sauté pan. Let it warm through and add sriracha, a drizzle of toasted sesame oil & a generous sprinkle of EBTB seasoning. ⑤ Top w/chopped green onions, cilantro & shredded carrots. You are officially #thebomb to your family [that’s a GOOD thing! 😂]. Pro Tip: This is so good, you should probably double it. I use Napa cabbage as my “lettuce.” It has a higher fiber content [goodness knows I need more fiber after eating all those Cheez-Its]. It’s officially salad season, my friends! 🥗 The only problem… You have to run to the store every few days for lettuce, since it usually only lasts for about a week [even when you take great care of it]. Since lettuce can be a bit fragile, I learned to make salad with sturdier veggies [ones that can last a couple of weeks in my fridge]. My Grilled Veggie Salad has quickly become my quarantine salad-of-choice and even after the stay-at-home order is lifted, I will keep it in my rotation — Because it's full of fiber. When you compare lettuce to cabbage… Cabbage is the winner in just about every category from fiber, to antioxidants, to minerals. It has also been shown to be a known “cancer-fighter” and that people who consume more cabbage [cruciferous veggies] have lower rates of breast, colon, lung AND prostate cancer. I’m sold! ✅ Cabbage can be a bit tough to digest, so I figured out a way to break it down a bit before I tossed it in as lettuce: ❶ Slice the round head of cabbage into 1-2 inch rounds [it looks like a plate]. ❷ Rub it with Bella Vado - California Avocado Oil, salt & pepper and toss it on a grill [medium heat for about 3-4 min/side]. You can also cook it in a frying pan on your stovetop or use a George Foreman Cooking grill. ❸ Let it cool and then shred. If I have lettuce on-hand, I usually mix 1/2 lettuce and 1/2 cabbage. I’ve also been grilling other veggies using my favorite BBQ basket. In this salad, I added grilled sliced radish and peppers. It’s easy-peasy… ❶ Chop the raw veggies, add to a bowl, drizzle with Avocado Oil and your fav seasoning, and throw it in your BBQ basket. ❷ Cook for about 5-8 minutes on medium heat. Let cool and add to the salad. ⭐️ Grilling veggies adds a wonderful caramelized flavor and makes salad taste more like a meal. ⭐️ I promise you… Even people that don’t like veggies [are there people like that?] will inhale this one! 🎉 PRO TIP: 👉 https://bit.ly/2K8rdOF 👈 OXO Crate and Barrel Costco Ziploc Costco Does It Again
