Some of our Dama Gazelle herd out grazing together along the fence line. Healthy group dynamics are one of the clearest signs a breeding program is doing its job.

What a weekend at the Texas Deer Association Convention! It's always energizing to be surrounded by so many passionate breeders and ranchers, all pushing this industry forward together.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Hatada Ranch booth to talk deer, genetics, and everything in between. Those conversations are what make these events worthwhile. Grateful for the community TDA brings together, and we're already looking forward to next year.

Native to South Africa, the Blesbok gets its name from the white blaze running down its face. "Bles" is Afrikaans for blaze. They're grazers built for open grassland, which makes the pastures here at Hatada Ranch feel a lot like home.
