It was a week of firsts for us!

We had our first calf born from within our own herd! (And by herd, I mean 2, but now 3 head.)

And it was the first today at the new location! It was a beautiful day, with lots of venders and shoppers. We hope to see you there next week too!

Alright Everyone,

Here is your last post for the week, it’s about one thing and one thing only…turkeys.

Now, I know I run a risk of sounding desperate…by it’s not desperation in my voice, it’s more like the tone of your parent asking you before you walk out into 50 degree weather; “are sure you don’t want a coat?”

I’m just giving everyone a last chance. And just like your parent knows the chance of you grabbing a jacket is slim to none, I know the additional turkey orders will be the same. But just like your parent, when you come by in a week or two and ask if I have any turkeys left, I’m going to give you that same look of “I told you so”. Even if the words are not said out loud, you’ll feel them in your heart. :)

Anyway, we are getting turkeys processed tomorrow and so if you are looking for a whole turkey, for Thanksgiving or Christmas, you will need to pre-order it TODAY…like right now.

When we go to the processor, the turkeys that are not spoken for will be parted out…meaning I won’t have additional whole turkeys to sell.

Now, they are going to be bigger birds, and I know that has been a concern for some, and I understand, so don’t feel bad if you can’t get one. The same with the price, I get it, they cost a lot. Again, I’m not desperate here…I’m going to get everything sold and make my money…but I just want to give anyone a last shot at picking up a whole bird.

So, that’s it…that’s all I got. Granted we don’t sell all the birds whole, we should have some turkey breasts and ground turkey available for sale soon!

3 Days left to order that Turkey! You can place an order online by going to www.chapfarm.com and hitting the "SHOP" button.

Whole turkeys will be $9.50/lbs and we are hoping for birds between 15 -20lbs.

The birds we don't have pre-sold we will end up getting parted out, so if you're wanting to secure a whole bird, now is your chance. Let us know if you have any questions!

Let’s get them Turkeys sold. baby! We are having our turkeys processed next Thursday (Nov 7th). The last day we’ll be taking Pre-orders would be the 6th. If you are looking for a turkey for either Thanksgiving or Christmas, now is the time to reserve it.

They will be available to pick up at the Waco Market starting the 8th or we can drop it off on our Thursday delivery route.

We do not anticipate having many extra whole turkeys available once they are processed. Any birds that are not yet spoken for by processing day will most likely be parted out to sell breasts, legs, ground, etc. So, if you want to ensure you have a whole turkey, please get that order in soon!!

Thanksgiving Turkeys Now Available For Pre-Order!!

Our birds are getting bigger and about ready to be processed. If you are looking for a pastured turkey this year, you can pre-order yours today by placing an order on our online store.

Prices are $9.50/lbs. We're hoping for birds between 15-20lbs this years. If there is a certain size you are looking for, make sure to make a note of that on your order. We'll try to accommodate sizes as possible.

Processing will take place Nov 7th and your birds will be available for pick up after that at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market , our Thursday Home Delivery Route or On Farm Pick Up. You can note your preferred location on your order.
