For years, A Homestead Brew has believed in something simple: Clear rules of the road. No ambiguity. Consumer protection. Accountability.
We didn’t wait for the government to tell us what responsible h**p beverage manufacturing should look like. We took the initiative ourselves.
As South Dakota’s first legal, in-state commercial manufacturer of intoxicating h**p-derived Delta-9 THC beverages, we are proud of the standards we’ve stood behind since 2024.
✅ Third-party laboratory testing — We’ve invested our own money in independent testing and Certificates of Analysis to verify cannabinoid potency and support quality assurance.
✅ 21 AND OLDER — From the beginning, we’ve marketed our intoxicating h**p beverages to adults 21 and older. Just because something may be legally permitted at 18 doesn’t mean we believe that’s the responsible standard.
✅ Hemp-derived Delta-9 THC — We’ve been transparent about using decarboxylated, h**p-derived Delta-9 THC and documenting our cannabinoid sourcing.
✅ Clear labeling and milligram disclosures — Consumers deserve to know what they’re purchasing, how much they’re consuming, and where to find laboratory results.
✅ Responsible manufacturing — We believe in enforceable milligram limits, product traceability, independent testing for potency and contaminants, and meaningful quality-control standards.
✅ Regulation, not ambiguity — We support a fair licensing and regulatory framework that protects consumers while allowing responsible American farmers, processors, and manufacturers to operate.
We aren’t advocating for an unregulated industry. We’re advocating for a RESPONSIBLY regulated industry.
That’s why we continue talking with legislators, representatives, industry associations, and regulatory officials at both the state and federal levels.
With major federal h**p restrictions approaching in December, these conversations matter more than ever.
We’ve invested in our products, our testing, our packaging, our quality assurance, and our customers because we believe the people putting our beverages on their tables deserve confidence in what they’re consuming.
Our history isn’t just a marketing claim. We have dated laboratory reports, manufacturing records, label designs, business correspondence, and commercial sales documentation going back to 2024.
We’re proud to put our record on the table.
And as h**p legislation continues evolving, we will keep advocating for reasonable cannabinoid milligram limits, mandatory independent testing, heavy-metal and contaminant screening, accurate labeling, and responsible adult-only access.
The h**p industry deserves clear rules. Consumers deserve safe, accurately labeled products. And responsible manufacturers deserve a fair opportunity to compete.
