🧶 Rust Belt Fibershed will be sharing hands-on information about our bioregional textile ecosystem within 250 miles of Cleveland, Ohio. Event benefits their mission and annual Symposium!

🎻 Music by Sugarmules (Cleveland bluegrass) and Forrest Britt (fiddle tunes). 📻 DJ Nightgoose spinning vinyl all evening.

🧶 Learn about weaving with Powers Acres Fiber Mill. Make a peg loom trivet to take home. Weave a rug together that will be sold and donated to Rust Belt FIbershed!

💐 Our friends Heads Up Flowers will guide the free handkerchief dye pot, and tell you all about their wonderful program…

🌼 Heads Up Flowers mission is to strengthen workplace and social skills through growing and designing floral bouquets and arrangements while interacting with the community. Their seasonal job training program for adults with disabilities will feature flowers for sale this evening. Heads Up Flower Garden

Speed harvesting tomatoes this morning. Slicers of a few varieties, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, some peppers coming on. Today, they’re all grown right here, picked, and carried 100’ over to our shop. Additionally, sourced from local Farm friends we trust. Interesting to see lots of new folks looking for local produce. Needless to say, lettuce, and other greens are sold out at the moment so please support any farmers markets happening this weekend. It’s lovely to explore and support local food growers, and not just in times of pricing, contamination, and other noteworthy trending news. There’s ways to do this so all your favorite local farms can thrive and stick around for a long time to come. We love to feed you while caring for our land 🙌 🍅 🐓 🌿

This month’s theme is GARDENFEST...plant, compost, recycle, mulch, and grow food all summer!
Any remaining plant sale plants will be FREE for event attendees only! Free leaf mulch to go with, from our composted leaf pile, reusing our chicken feed bags. Scoop as much as you can use. Tilth Soil products for sale under our awning. Rust Belt Riders Composting will attend to compost extra scraps, discuss composting best practices, and gauge interest in hosting a food scrap drop-off site on the farm. Learn about their Neighborhood Drop-Off Service.

Entry is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. We pay performers and bands fairly, and donate %10 of all farm sales to the CVNP, so your support keeps our events sustainable. Event is weather dependent and will be postponed or cancelled in case of heavy rain, so stay tuned. Leave your dogs at home please! 🐕 🐑

It was a real pleasure to spend this weekend weaving baskets with these great folks! For most of us it was our very first time. Such a great skill to learn from some incredible teachers.
