“Riley” has built an impressive legacy of his own as a multiple APHA World Champion Sire and Congress Champion Sire, consistently producing horses with the talent, presence, and pedigree to excel.

You never know when today will be the last day you wrap your arms around your horse, hear that familiar nicker, or walk down the barn aisle to see them waiting.

💛 Today the barn feels a lot emptier, Palo Duro Cat slipped away peacefully after a routine collection in his sleep at 24 years old.

More than a stallion standing at stud, Palo Duro Cat was a longtime cornerstone of the Brightstone Ranch stallion barn. He was admired not only for his talent, but for the kind, gentle disposition that made everyone who met him appreciate him even more.

His legacy will live on through the countless horses he produced, winners across nearly every western performance discipline, and through the families, riders, and breeders whose lives he touched along the way.

Some horses leave behind more than pedigrees and accomplishments. They leave memories, friendships, and an impact that can’t be measured in buckles and produce records alone.

Rest easy, Palo Duro Cat. Thank you for everything you gave to this industry. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten in the Brightstone Barn.

We love baby updates from the US!

I might be bias but our little filly now 4 months is growing out truly spectacular🥺

I’ve had many foals die and become sick as is the breeding game unfortunately. But this little girl has defied impossible odds ….many times … just refuses to call it a day. Even when she was in the womb and was given little odds to survive, she fought tooth and nail to stake her claim on this earth.

So while she was prepared to fight so hard to live….I was prepared to help her do just that and so glad I trusted my instincts to give her that chance. I would like to think her strength, grit and determination is a sign she is going to be a superstar like her parents when she hits the Futurity circuit🙏🏻

Im incredibly grateful to Keith and staff at Brightstone Ranch for nursing her through many days and nights of sickness.
