🍻 Islay’s Barrel 8th Annual Barrel-Aged Brewfest brings breweries and distillers from across the region to Journeyman Distillery. More than just a celebration of barrel-aged beer, this event fuels Islay’s Barrel Foundation, a nonprofit that provides youth in Southwest Michigan with access to summer camps and enrichment programs.

What started in 2012 as a single barrel set aside for our daughter’s future has grown into a foundation helping kids discover theirs.

NEW BEER ALERT: ONE-EYED HARE DRY IRISH STOUT

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Sea of Monsters is unleashing One-Eyed Hare—a bold, mysterious Dry Irish Stout available exclusively on draft at Union Hall in Valparaiso!

With deep notes of espresso, high-cacao dark chocolate, darkened caramel, and nearly-burnt toast, this stout is as rich in flavor as it is in folklore. Inspired by the one-eyed hare of Irish legend—an eerie, shapeshifting trickster—this brew is crafted with locally malted grains from Sugar Creek Malt House and classic Fuggles hops for an authentic Irish bite.
