Unfortunately, we will have to close tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18th, due to an unexpected issue caused by the power outage. Our refrigerator in the back stopped working, but thankfully, we are getting a new one delivered tomorrow!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few days as we’ve been working tirelessly to get everything clean and restocked.

A huge thank you to my amazing crew! There was a lot of lifting, scrubbing, and, well, putting up with me. 🤣 I say it all the time. I truly have Valpo’s best crew ever!!!

We have power back! 🙌 We’re working hard to get the store cleaned up and ready to reopen.

Unfortunately, most of our inventory was ruined, so we’re doing everything we can to get orders in and restock for the weekend. As of right now, we will still be closed, but we’ll keep everyone updated as we know more!

Just a heads-up that Old World Market is still without power and will be closed until we have more information.

We are hiring! This doesn’t happen often, and we are thrilled to expand our team. We are looking for part-time kitchen staff (making salads, sandwiches, baking, etc.) who is also available to help the front of the shop as needed for support.

We are seeking individuals who are 21+ and available 3-4 days a week, with shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and some Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
