When we first explored opening Running Vines Valparaiso, we were thrilled about the opportunity. But after a few unexpected permitting roadblocks, we’ve decided to shift our focus to the exciting things already in motion.

We’re pouring our energy into our Chesterton location and our distribution, so you’ll be able to enjoy Running Vines in even more places soon!

We’re also really excited for the business taking over the Valpo space. It’s an awesome local business with great vibes, and we can’t wait to support them when they open.

While this isn’t the direction we originally planned, it is the right one. And we’re so ready to focus on what we do best; great wine, great community, and unforgettable experiences right here in Chesterton.

Come see us in Chesterton! Just a short drive away, with all your favorite wines, ciders, cocktails, and a team that treats you like family.

When are you opening in Valpo?
Short answer — we wish we knew.

We’ve had a few delays and are currently waiting on the state to approve our plumbing plan. Until that is approved, nothing can move forward and unfortunately we don’t have any updates or timelines to share.

In the meantime, we would love to see you in Chesterton. Supporting us there helps keep everything moving while we wait on Valpo to be released into our hands.

As soon as we have a real update — you’ll hear it from us first. Promise.

When guests actually get it 🥹💖 Yes! Aftermath is closing, but you’ll still find us (and our cider!) at Running Vines in Valparaiso the new location (toys in the attics old space) and at Running Vines in Chesterton. Same drinks, same vibes, just a new chapter.
