Harvested a bucket full of okra that we let go to seed to plant next year. I’ve saved this variety for years.
Getting ready for fall cold crop stuff if it will rain. Cut up all the stalks and put back into the soil. If we get a good general rain by the second week of September, I’ll plant broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower, along with turnips, turnip, mustard and collard greens!

The garden is done for this season. Thanks to everyone who ordered and picked up produce.
If the weather permits, we will have a fall crop.

Y’all get ready, okra is blooming and once the sun comes out after all this rain we will have buckets of it. Probably late next week!

We are in the planning stages of offering pasture raised farm processed whole and whole cut up chickens.
These will be a Cornish cross meat bird, naturally raised on fresh pasture daily.
We are testing the market now to see the demand. Cost based on comparable operations will be 30.00 whole and 34.00 whole cut up. Processed and frozen here on our farm.
We will take pre orders or custom.
