Sometimes the best part of summer is slowing down enough to notice what’s been there all along. 🤍

Lately, our painted turtles have been making their evening rounds and are often spotted from the patio, enjoying the season at their own pace.

As you relax with us this summer, take a moment to pause, unwind, and enjoy these special visitors from a respectful distance. This is their home we’re simply guests in their space. Please help protect our wildlife by observing from afar and allowing them to move freely.

This week, we’re serving up two specials that are packed with summer-inspired ingredients and made fresh in-house.

🥗 Bruschetta Salad - A vibrant blend of lettuce and arugula topped with our house-made bruschetta mix, cherry tomatoes, mini mozzarella, shaved Parmesan, and toasted sourdough. Finished with a bright basil olive oil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze for the perfect balance of fresh and savory.

Our house-made Alfredo sauce sets the stage for a rich combination of wild mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. Once baked, it’s finished with fresh arugula, balsamic glaze, and toasted pine nuts for a deliciously earthy, flavorful bite.

Tomorrow, the Polliwog makes its 2026 debut at the Odessa Community Jam in the Village of Odessa.

Hop on down to the Bucket Bar & Grill and find us in their parking lot as we kick off another season on the road. Great music, great company, and a perfect way to wrap up the week.

We’ve picked a NEW summer date for our next Bird Walk!

And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, as hatchlings will be appearing and baby birds will be making their debut, and we can’t wait to witness the incredible moments of parenthood unfolding throughout the wetlands. From tiny chirps to first flights, nature is putting on one of its most magical seasonal shows. ✨

Our seasonal salad this week is made with fresh watermelon, peppery arugula, local goat cheese, shaved almonds, fresh mint leaves, and a house-made rhubarb vinaigrette featuring locally sourced rhubarb from our community. 💕
