Our most precious old girl, Claudette. Eleven years old and counting! She’s a Welsummer and lays dark brown speckledy eggs, and is still laying! Three years ago she was attacked by a dog and badly injured, but amazingly recovered so well. Our miracle girl. 💪 🐣

We also know that chickens have the same language around the world! Having raised chickens in both Australia and the USA, their little language sounds and inflections transcend the continents and hemispheres. Such clever little animals.
