Our Story

Golden State Wine is an importer and wholesaler of premium limited-production wines throughout the state of California. Founded in 1982 by Mike Miller, the company selects wines that meet strict criteria for quality and value. Golden State’s portfolio boasts a diverse selection of fine wines and spirits ranging from up and coming gems to the some of the most prestigious and sought after wines in the world.

In 2008, an investment was made into the company by Europvin SAS, a Bordeaux-based exporter of world class wines to over 50 countries, including every major wine market worldwide. Together the companies formed a new import division, Europvin USA, building a national distribution network that now reaches every wine market in the United States.

Our motto? “Life is too short to drink bad wine”.
