Sangiovese is an excellent w**e to pair with chocolate, especially because of its fresh, acidic and tannic character, which can perfectly balance the sweetness and creaminess of different types of chocolate. Here are some ideas:

Sangiovese and dark chocolate (70-80%): The notes of cherry, plum and a bit of spice typical of Sangiovese go well with dark chocolate. The acidity of the w**e contrasts the richness of the chocolate, creating a perfect balance.

Sangiovese and chocolate with dried fruit: If dark chocolate is enriched with nuts or almonds, Sangiovese can enhance these earthy, slightly roasted notes, creating a complex and flavorful combination.
