This spring has been touch-and-go with all the rain we’ve been getting. We went out to check the progress of some fields today. The first field was planted April 13th and the second on May 18th!

We had a busy day on the farm installing a Sukup mixed-flow dryer, which is quite impressive. Drying begins at the top of the screens and cools as it moves down to be transferred to a grain bin, where it gets additional cool air for the corn. A faster and more efficient dryer is the way forward. 🌽🌽
