108 tomatoes, 25 zucchini, 25 yellow squash, 20 lbs of our last round of potatoes, 55 peonies (very late I know!), and 200 MORE red beets planted before tomorrow's storm. We have also been working on irrigation for the other half of the farm so that we can expand the field production beyond our pick-your-own operations.

Our favorite way to eat kale is in Zuppa Toscana. The dish is made with potatoes, garlic, onions, and fresh kale from our farm, all served in a homemade chicken broth. I also include ginger and turmeric to boost the health benefits of the meal.

What is yalls favorite farm fresh meal? Ratatouille? Bruschetta? Elotes? Bhajias and Spiced Dahi dip?

So, we have been nominated for the Guide To NC for Produce. It is similar to Craven County's Reader's Choice awards (of which we won 2nd for produce!!). AND now we vote, which ends March 31st. It is a huge honor and we are filled to the brim with gratitude for our customers, friends, and family who support us and the farm.

www.guidetonc.com to vote. We are under food and drink and produce. Other local places like Carolina's Cupcakes and Brew House are on there as well.
Let's support local and vote.
