We are very blessed to have very little loss in our bakery - but today we had a problem with one of our ovens & hot spots. It’s so frustrating to work so hard on prep only to have cookies bake to different temps in the oven!
I really try to keep the realness alive here, and this is part of it🫠 We won’t be selling either of these cookies, or the others that I set aside.
Bake day is dedicated just to baking… but today we’re making more dough because 💩 happens!

In our chocolate chip cookies, we like the height, browning & chewy aspect that baking soda brings🤤
We don’t like the “puff” or cake-like texture that baking powder can give, so we only use soda!🤌🏼 What do you use in your cookies? Soda? Powder? Both?🤔

Your mallows melt out and ruin your cookies - I’ve been there. Try this at home!🍪😋
Throw your mini marshmallows in the dehydrator for 2 hours at 156°. They’ll be perfectly crunchy! The dough around them in the open hydrates them just enough to get that campfire, toasty feel!
If you don’t have a dehydrator, toss them in the oven! Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread a single layer of mini marshmallows out on the pan. Place in oven @ 150°-165° for 2-3 hours. Store in airtight container (my fav is mason jars)

I often get asked how long it takes me to prep for the markets! Here’s a small piece of the breakdown for my cookies😋 Still getting into our groove of doing markets every week again, but every day the system gets a little more streamlined & a little easier🥰🤌🏼🍪
We do two markets - one is much smaller than the other, but we were very blessed to sell out at both markets this week here in Washington. If you were one of them, THANK YOU!🫶🏼♥️

Thought I had enough for 11 boxes but I miss counted and you know what that means?? COOKIES FOR BREAKFAST!!!😋🍪
Customers loved them on Wednesday, so we’re back with them on Saturday!
