π§ Why Do We Check Water Pressure? π§
This little gauge is one of the simplest β and most important β tools we use when evaluating a home's water system.
Before recommending or installing water treatment equipment, we check water pressure to better understand how your plumbing system is performing.
β
Helps verify proper pressure for water softeners, filtration systems, and reverse osmosis units
β
Identifies high pressure that can put extra strain on plumbing, fixtures, and appliances
β
Helps diagnose issues such as pressure fluctuations, leaks, or failing pressure regulators
β
Provides a baseline reading so we know your system is operating as intended
Most homes perform best between 50β80 PSI. Pressure outside that range can affect everything from shower performance to the long-term reliability of your plumbing and water treatment equipment.
A water test tells us what's in your water. A pressure test helps us understand how that water is moving through your home. Together, they give us a much clearer picture of your overall water system.
If you've never had your water tested or checked your home's pressure, we'd be happy to help.
