Sharing a vulnerable moment with you, my juice community. As you can see we are planning a fundraiser and partnering with YWCA not only to bring awareness but to raise funds that help change and save lives daily. I myself am a domestic violence survivor and although I can now see the gratitude in that experience, it’s an experience I don’t wish upon anyone. Organizations like YWCA were not known to me at the time of my hardships, as I was away from family living on an island at the time so I was forced to go the route alone. The trauma, mental health, and physical recovery is a never ending work in progress but knowing what I do know now, the mission is to try to spread awareness to any and all that may be in need of services and support.

Most of us know someone who has been affected by DV, and the path to safety and long term care after any DV situation is one that may last years. YWCA is an organization I will be partnering with as long as I have this platform, because I was supposed to be a statistic. Domestic Violence almost took my life, and for this life I have now I am grateful for everyday. We have so much work to do as a country, as a state, as a county but one thing we can do is show up for our community right now.

We will have QR codes set up at the shop if you can’t make it out June 20th and feel encouraged to donate. Your support means more lives saved. 🌺
