🐑🎞️Ultrasound Day = GOOD NEWS! 🎞️ 🐑

We spent some time behind the ultrasound machine today checking our AI/ET ewes, and we couldn’t be happier with what we saw!

27 ewes ultrasounded with an 85% conception rate! (Including AI ewe lambs) 🙌

We continue pushing our program forward through both AI and embryo transfer. This set of donors were bred the best we could match, and now we’re excited to see what they can produce.

There are some exciting new combinations that we think will be well worth a stop by the barn this winter.

A big thank you again to Reproduction Specialty Group, Inc.and everyone who helped us throughout our breeding and flush days. Successful days like today don’t happen without a lot of preparation and a lot of good people helping along the way!

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO PASS RSG STANDARDS?🧬

When it comes to frozen semen, quality matters. RSG uses established QC standards to evaluate each product and help ensure it meets our expectations before use.

✅ RSG PASS standards include:
• At least 30 million live cells
• 50% or greater live cells
• Progression greater than two cell lengths per second
• Less than 15% abnormal morphology

❌ A sample will FAIL if it has:
• Fewer than 30 million live cells
• Below 40% live cells
• Progression of less than one body length per second
• Greater than 15% abnormal morphology

Products that meet RSG Pass standards are considered suitable for use in LAI or ET procedures. RSG standards are a way we work to provide confidence in the reproductive products you use.
