This is an amazing sight! So happy the bees made it through the nasty winter we had. We’ll open them up later this week and we’ll get ready for swarm season.

Good news! Checked the hives today since it was 60 degrees, both are doing great! Now to get through the rest of winter. Turn on your sound to hear them buzzing.

Spent part of the evening in the chicken coop installing an exhaust fan to keep the ladies cool. Got caught in the storm but was able to catch this beautiful photo of the double rainbow 🌈

Went through the hives this evening. Two out of five are good. One of the two is missing a queen. On to plan B.
