Fruits Des Vignes Farm Fruits Des Vignes Farm and Produce Stand. We offer seasonal starts, fruits and vegetables grown on our farm organically. Check our farmstore for current options.

We also offer sandwiches, salads, dried fruits, cold drinks and seasonal gift items. We are licenses permitted WSDA Processor. Fruit des Vignes farm is one of the oldest fruit farms on Vashon Island still producing fruits and berries for market. We sell our fruit and Berries as well as farm fresh produce in our farm stand. We also sell prepared ready to eat food we make on site in our WSDA licensed food processing kitchen.

Have you tried a Haralson or Jonathan Apple?

The Haralson apple is a medium-sized, cold-hardy fruit featuring a dark red skin and an exceptionally crisp, dense white flesh with a strongly tart, tangy flavor. Developed by the University of Minnesota in 1913, this variety is highly prized as a premium baking apple for pies and crisps because its firm texture holds its shape perfectly under heat without turning mushy.

The Jonathan apple is a medium-sized, heirloom fruit featuring a thin red skin and a creamy, juicy flesh with a sprightly, sweet-tart balance and a hint of spice. Discovered as a chance seedling in Woodstock, New York in 1826, this highly versatile variety is a favorite for fresh eating, c***r making, and cooking into a smooth-textured applesauce or pie.

We also have Kings, Jonah Golds, Gala, Cortland, Suntan, Melrose and french Reinette de Montfort all in stock.

Have you tried Cortland Apples?

The Cortland apple is a round, bright-red almost fuschia fruit featuring a sweet-tart flavor and crisp white flesh that is exceptionally slow to turn brown when sliced. Developed in New York in 1898 by crossing the McIntosh and Ben Davis varieties, this heritage apple was officially released to the market in 1915. Because it resists browning and holds its shape when cooked, it is the premier choice for fresh salads, holiday fruit platters, and baked pies.

We just put out Cortland and Jonah Gold apples today.
Our current apples are Kings, Galas, Jonah Golds, Cortlands, Melrose, Reinette de Monfort, and Suntan-
Current Pears - Dwarf Seckel, Asian Chochuro and Shinseiki.
We also are stocked full of peppers, eggplant, cucumber, tomatoes, tomatillos, cabbage and summer squash.
All our fruit is grown on our farm organically no pesticides.

We just put out Reinette de Montfort, a traditional French desert apple.
A favoured cooking apple, holding its shape and texture well for pies, crumbles and crisps. In most areas where this variety is grown, it is encountered as a primarily green apple with some blushing. However, it does develop colour in storage and becomes remarkably sweeter.
We also have Melrose and Suntan available, both are desert specialty apples.

We grow 27 varieties of Apples and 5 varieties of Pears.
Currently available are:

Kings (Tompkins King) – A large, historic American heirloom with a sweet-tart flavor; exceptional for fresh eating, baking, and blending into rich c***r.

Gala – A crisp, sweet, and mild favorite; perfect for fresh snacking and adding natural sweetness to fresh juice bases.

Suntan – A bold, high-acid English cross of Cox's Orange Pippin; delivers intense flavor for baking and sharp c***r blends.

Melrose – A firm, sweet-tart apple that stores exceptionally well; excellent for fresh eating, baking, and pies.

Bartlett – The classic, super-juicy European pear; unbeatable for fresh eating, canning, pear sauce, and perry bases.
