So...we took last Saturday & Sunday off for a little breather. Upon returning to the Canteen today, we get this tremendously warm welcome in front of the serving window. I'm not sure who did it, but I can tell you from the bottom of our hearts, we are touched and grateful for the beautiful artwork! Thank you to the Balsam Cove Campground community that we feel so much a part of. You all are top shelf!

German Food Night at Balsam Cove Campground. This is inspired by years of living in Germany and visiting many Christkindlsmarkt (Christmas Markets) over the years since. We're offering:

*Bratwurst on baguette "mit senf" (this has authentic German mustard)
*Langos (fried pizza dough with garlic oil, sour cream, mozzarella)
*Authentic German sauerkraut
*Soft pretzels with cheese sauce or mustard
*Red hot dogs with toasted New England split top bun
*Pomme frites (french fries) with authentic curry ketchup, or mayo...or good ol' American ketchup
