Today our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

As we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Veguita Trading Post, we were reminded that this milestone isn't just about our family—it's about our entire community. Every smile, every handshake, every story shared today made this celebration one we'll never forget.

To our loyal customers, from those who have been with us since the beginning to those who stopped in for the very first time today, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. To our incredible vendors and friends, thank you for your partnership and unwavering support over the years.

For three generations, Veguita Trading Post has been more than a business—it has been a gathering place, a neighbor, and a home away from home. We are honored to have grown alongside this community, celebrating life's milestones, creating memories, and serving generations of families.

Thank you for making today so incredibly special and for helping us reach this golden milestone. We couldn't have done it without you.

In January 2019, my wife and I proudly took over the day-to-day operations of the store from my parents so they could finally enjoy a well-deserved "retirement." Of course, in a family-run business, you never truly retire... haha!

Then, on July 11, 2019, we reached another exciting milestone. We moved our food truck operation into a brand-new kitchen inside the store, allowing us to expand our menu and better serve our customers.

What started with a simple idea has grown into a full kitchen offering everything from breakfast burritos and our famous carne adovada burritos to burgers and fries, Max Dogs, Dori Nachos, carne asada cheese fries, tostadas, tacos, grilled chicken sandwiches, and so much more. And, of course, no meal is complete without the perfect finishing touch—our locally grown Veguita chile, adding the authentic New Mexico flavor our customers know and love.

We're grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. Your encouragement has helped us continue to grow, evolve, and serve the community we love.

Our kitchen is open Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We invite you to stop by, enjoy a great meal, and taste the difference that fresh ingredients, family tradition, and a little Veguita-grown chile can make!
