This is a hard post and decision for us to make. After 4 years we have decided we will no longer be doing the produce stand. We had to make this decision because it is what is best for our family. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We are grateful for the wonderful community and people we have met along the way.

Meet our laying hens. I have been asked a lot whether our chickens are free ranged or not. We have them in a movable Fence and movable 8x10 chicken coop. They get moved as needed so they never go without grass. Plus they get all the garden scraps! They are truly happy chickens! We personally can’t let them loose to run around freely because of a lot of aerial predators we have (netting can help deter aerial predators like hawks and owls from swooping down on chickens) and also they eat and destroy the garden very quickly! We also do not have roosters in with our laying hens so they are not fertilized eggs.
