I picked all the remaining fruit (a big bag full) since the broad leaves can no longer shelter the delicious fruit from the ravenous birds.

Aren't these pretty? Come get some Persimmons freshly picked off the tree! Still firm and will soften into yummy goodness.

Orange and plump like little pumpkins, Don't ask what variety ... I inherited these trees without their names.

2 for $1 or $0.50 each for the big ones. Still plenty on the tree for everyone!

It's pear time, and there are plenty for everyone! The Bartletts are a good size for canning or snacking. They will ripen to sweet deliciousness off the tree.

Hello Friends of Jeans Bottom Farm! We have a little announcement outside of fruits and veggies that someone might find interesting:

We have appreciated the compliments over the years about our unique property here on Fern Ridge Reservoir. It is quite special, and we love living out here.

It has, however, been a lot of upkeep for just the two of us, so we worked with the county over many (many!) months to split the six acres into two parcels.

We thought long and hard which side we would keep and which we would have to sell--the goat field side or the house side?

For now, we are selling the smaller land lot (the old goat field). It does have a little building on it (not considered a house or dwelling because there is no toilet and only a gray-water cystern for a sink). The solar arrays can stay with the land, too.

If you, or someone you know, might be seriously considering purchasing a buildable 2.07 acres lot in an awesome location, this offer is listed on all the real estate websites like Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, etc. You don't need a buyers' agent--you can contact us directly.

It's cherry season! $0.50/lb (50 cents) U-pick this week of June 16.

They come and go very quickly because the birds are also eager to fill up on these juicy fruits.

We have one large tree of sweet cherries, one packed tree of sour cherries (not pictured), and a sprawling tree of pie cherries. All easy to reach.

By appointment only. Mornings or evenings are best. Message me here for a mutual time.

** Persimmon U-pick is cancelled on Sunday! ** The trees are bare again after today's picking.

I might have a mixed box available later in the week if the two reserved orders aren't picked up by Wednesday.
