I’ve been expanding my collection of these saturated, dark moorits- I’m in love with this color! Plus, clocking in with a nearly 7.5lb (skirted) lamb fleece, Queenie is the type of ewe I really want in my flock! 😍

My current obsession: yearling ram ACM Bramley 🤩

I knew he was special from the moment he was born (swipe right to see the baby!) and he has continued to grow up into such a promising ram for my flock. Can’t wait to see what that fleece looks like by the end of the year! ☁️

Yearling ewe ACM Fleur came with quite the pedigree so I can’t say I’m totally shocked, but nevertheless I am very pleased to see how her fleece is growing in!

The MSWF fleece show results are in! Very honored to have received the Grand Champion Fleece award with ACM Nutmeg’s lamb fleece! ✨🤎🐑

Congratulations to the shepherds and flocks behind the other incredible fleeces on the champion table this morning! A particular standout to me is Woolmaker’s champion Corriedale fleece! 🤩

It’s not belated, because every day is Earth Day! 🌎 🌍 🌏

Every day is an opportunity to make eco-friendly choices that truly matter. As a woman in agriculture, specifically a shepherdess and fiber artist, I feel empowered knowing 2026 is the year of the woman farmer.

Raising sheep for fiber has numerous benefits: it improves soil health, reduces wildfire risk, and utilizes a fully renewable resource. Let’s appreciate our wonderful Earth and the amazing animals that call her home! 🌱
