Turkey update!

8/10 eggs hatched, mama and babies are doing great! There’s 6 bronze, 1 chocolate, and 1 black.

Mama is VERY protective and won’t let anyone near her or the babies, they’re trying to learn how to fly now. ❤️

Goodafternoon everyone!

I’ve been keeping a little secret🙈 my sweet turkey hen laid her first 10 eggs and is now sitting on them. Somehow a chicken egg got in there, so I’ll have a baby chick hatch and some baby turkeys hatching soon! She’s been such a good mommy sitting on those eggs, I know she’ll do great raising the babies.

Those of you that know and love my gobbler, Jorge, he’s a little lonely because his girlfriend is gone sitting on eggs but he is okay.

As always, THANK YOU for the continued support. I appreciate each and every one of you and so do my ladies and gents of the yard😊🥚❤️

Goodmorning everyone!

I’m sorry for being absent on posting things, life has been very hectic lately.

The ladies like drinking out of the bird bath and my adult turkey likes laying in water😂

REMINDER: I DO NOT have as many ladies as I used too. Meaning, I do not get as many eggs daily as I used to. There is a waiting list for eggs and when your name reaches the top I’ll let you know. Most of you are on rotation, once it’s your turn I automatically add your name back to the bottom of the list. Some of you have been with me from the very start and some of you have joined me along the way. I have rebuilt my flock 4 different times! Meaning, I’ve had to buy all new babies and raise them again. I don’t have as many birds as I used to because it’s tiring! I’m tired of losing them to predators or storms or floods.

Most of you understand it’s all on the ladies time, and understand what I’ve gone through rebuilding flocks. But some of you have given me a hard time because it’s such a long wait for eggs, I’m sorry I truly am. But I cannot s**t the eggs out myself or force the ladies to do it. I don’t plan on going back to the amount of birds I had before, I’m sorry there’s a wait but you don’t need to be rude to me about it. Go get crappy eggs from the store then if you aren’t patient enough to wait, one less person in line for those that appreciate my girls and are willing to wait their turn.

Thank you to those that support me and love my ladies and don’t mind waiting, you are the reason I’m still doing this❤️🥚🐓

i know, i know… why have i not introduced these cuties sooner?!🙈

well please welcome my newest additions, 3 turkeys! no they’re not going to be thanksgiving dinner, they’re here to stay🥰

just a heads up, these turkeys will be much bigger than my chickens and they fly so if you come get eggs and have some bigger visitors than normal, it’s okay, they’re so sweet and love attention❤️🥚

What a lovely surprise it was to come home from work and see that a few teenagers started laying early!!🐓

It is normal for girls to possibly lay their first eggs early, that just means they’re happy🥰

I can’t wait for them all to start laying 🐓❤️

Goodmorning!

My teenagers are now free ranging everyday with my adults, and everyone is getting along nicely🥰

They got their first taste of produce this week and they demolished it!😝 These ladies should still start laying their first eggs in june, if you’d like eggs please MESSAGE ME so i can write your name down.

There is still a wait list as i still only have just a few adults laying eggs while we wait on these teenagers to start in june.

REMINDER: my adults only lay 5-10 eggs a day, i cannot make them lay any extra eggs than they already do. Their bodies can only handle what they can handle, i wish i could make them lay more but i cant. It is all up to them and their bodies. Thank you for being patient, i understand it’s a long wait but there’s nothing i can do as it’s all up to the ladies. ❤️🥚

GOODMORNING!
Here is the long awaited baby post, they’re not so little and fluffy like when you first get them but here they are!🐥🐣
These girls here are almost teenagers now, and should start laying by June!! They are finally off a heat lamp and in their own pen where they can use and learn their natural chicken instincts🥰

I want to thank each and every one of you that have been patiently waiting for eggs, i know it’s a long wait but that’s just how it is when you only have a handful of ladies laying.🥚

When these babies start laying i should be able to fulfill orders a lot more quickly, just bare with us and continue with your amazing patience and support. I can’t wait to see the colors these ladies lay!😍🐓

Merry Christmas!🎄🐓

I hope everyone has a great christmas and happy new year! A HUGE thank you to you guys and the patience you’ve had with the ladies. The 2 hurricanes, 2 floods, and raccoon influx i’ve lost over half my flock again this year. So thank you to everyone who has patiently waited for their egg orders! 🥚

I am still taking egg orders, keep in mind there is a list and you’ll have to wait until it’s your turn. I only have a handful of girls so i don’t have the production i did before the hurricanes.

I do have babies, but the long wait for them to lay eggs comes with that. Please just keep being patient, the babies will grow up in no time🐣🐣

good evening, i’ll begin taking small egg orders… with that being said,

NO ORDERS OVER 1 FLAT
EXPECT A 1-4DAY WAIT FOR ANY ORDER YOU PLACE
TRY TO PLAN AHEAD AND ORDER A FEW DAYS AHEAD SO YOU’RE NOT SITTING WITHOUT EGGS

the girls have been through a lot, i do not have the amount of birds i did to produce and keep up with everyone. which is why you should expect to wait for your order, no orders over 1 flat because again i lost most of my girls so the ones i do have can’t keep up with larger orders.
if you know you’ll be out of eggs in a few days, shoot me a message. that’ll give you that wait time and the girls the time to lay what you need. thank you all for being so patient with me and especially the girls, most of them are back on a routine and laying. there is still a handful going through stress and molting so it’ll be a little bit before they get back to normal.
