Today we got news that Paco Rodero, the founder of Pago de los Capellanes has left us from this plane. We are remembering him with much love, a very important person in our journey. Luckily I met him in 2001 when the winery was starting and Antalva was just about to bring the first container in the US. Luckily Paco believed in me and we could start our journey in America together; our first container was pre sold before the wines arrived in California. From there it was a blessing having his wines in our portfolio. We will always remember Paco, his passion and love for the land he was born, for his roots and the wines of Ribera del Duero. Paco your essence will strength the land of your vineyards, and also mine. Descansa en paz
