Our practice is committed to maintaining a minimal carbon footprint through sustainable organic methods, regenerative soil management and practices. The garden is also a powerful outreach tool, spreading the wisdom of adopting an organic practice approach to gardening and a re-connection to how food is grown. People come together in our garden drawn perhaps by a common desire to learn this ancient skill or maybe just to reminisce about childhood memories in their own family’s garden long ago.

Support our building project for our new sanctuary at Westminster Elementary School where we’re moving next year when the hotel construction begins on our block. Help us create this new forever home for our rescues and adoptions for our community complete with a learning space for the kids!

It’s spring and all our rescued/adopted young hens from last fall are now laying and are at peak production! Fresh chicken and duck eggs are waiting for you👍! Just order online and we’ll reserve your dozen(s) so there’s no risk we’ll sell out before you pick up. The 🔗 is in our bio. Once we receive your paid order, we will email you back with a pick up date and time that’s convenient. That’s it. Easy peasy! Fresh eggs with the added benefit of supporting a neighborhood animal sanctuary where you can actually meet the hens who lay your eggs, see how they live, eat and are raised with love. You can even volunteer to care for them or donate to support them (links are also in our bio).

Got FOMO? We got you covered! Get thru that tough after-school no-man’s land between pickup and dinner AND DO SOME GOOD TOO! Join us and for our BUNNY HOPPY HOUR every Wednesday 4-6 at The Cook’s Garden. All proceeds go to support our building fund - Raise the Coop campaign to build our new sanctuary and outdoor life sciences classroom at Westminster Elementary. We’re planning for our necessary relocation when the hotel project breaks ground sometime in mid 2027. Our estimated target is $15k of which we’ve raised a bit over $5k so far. We can only reach our goal in time with your help. Since we’ve started our fundraising efforts for this project in 2025 our volunteer team has evacuated and fostered 6 local families’ flocks from the palisades fire zones and adopted or rescued 10 chickens and 4 ducks. Please help us continue to be there for our communities during the next crisis and whenever the next animal needs us.
