The first half of the season has
Thank you so much to all our customers 😊

As I mentioned in last post,

We’ll be taking a break from August 26 through September 9.
The second half of the season is scheduled to start on September 13.

However, this week’s heat wave is incredibly hot and prolonged, so there’s a chance the remaining crops might be severely damaged. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll be okay 🙏🏽

I’ll let you know as soon as there are any updates!

We’ll be setting up a booth tomorrow, August 22!
We’ve been bringing you our products for the past five weeks,
and the first half of our “Magical Grapes” season ends tomorrow.

We’re giving our team a two-week break,
and plan to resume sales on September 13 for the second half of the season, when the fully ripened Shinano Smile, Queen Nina, and My Heart varieties will be at their absolute best.

However, the heat wave starting tomorrow is going to be incredibly intense, and it’s forecast to last for over a week. Honestly, no matter how much water we give them, the grapes might not be able to hold up 😭

We’ll do our best, but it’s going to be especially tough on the Shinano variety, and the Queen Nina grapes are likely to suffer significant damage as well 🍇😱

There’s even a chance we won’t be able to resume the second half of the season, and the season might end right here 😅

Tomorrow, I’ll bring as many as I can—even if it means having some left over—so all you Magical Grape fans, please come by! 😊🙏🏽❤️

We’ll also bring a small batch of the new “Takatsuma” variety that we’ve just harvested. It’s a descendant of the famous Japanese grape variety “Pione,” and it’s delicious! 😋

New Variety: “My Heart” Grapes 😊

Unique heart-shaped red grapes 🍇
This variety is a descendant of Shine Muscat.

It’s been four years since we planted them, and now that the vines have finally grown enough to have fruit,
we’re releasing them this year😊

Since the vines are still quite young, this year’s harvest is very limited to just 4 dozen bunches or so. To be honest, they don’t yet express the terroir as distinctly as Shinano Smile does, but this is a variety with great potential for the future. If you’re looking for something rare, please give them a try🙏🏽❤️

植えて4年、やっと木が成長してきたので
今年リリースします

ぶどうの木がまだまだ若く、今年の収穫は数十房と数が限られていますし、正直いってシナノスマイルのようにテロワールを感じるほどに至りませんが、これから期待の品種です。珍しいぶどうをお探しの方、ぜひよろしくお願いします❤️

8月のマーケットは、明日19日と22日のマービスタで一旦終了いたします。

2週間お休みいただいたのち、再開いたします。

We’ll be setting up a booth at Marvista tomorrow! 😊

It’s our fourth week there, and in addition to the delicious Shinano Smile, we’ll also be bringing the premium variety Queen Nina. 👍🏽

Both are red grapes, but their characteristics are completely different.

Queen Nina is a premium variety with firm flesh that melts in your mouth; it’s very aromatic and has a refined sweetness. 🍇

Admittedly, the price is on the higher side, but the taste and the time and effort that went into them are well worth it! 😊

We thin out the grapes one by one to bring out their rich flavor. This taste can only be achieved by hand! Think of it as the difference between conveyor-belt sushi and artisan sushi 🫡

Quantities are limited!

どちらも赤ぶどうですが、特徴は全く違います。
クイーンニーナは果肉がしっかりしているのに、口の中でホロホロと崩れていくような特徴があり、とても香り高く甘さにも品がある、プレミアム品種です🍇

確かにお値段は高めですが、それに見合う味と手間暇がかかってます！😊一粒一粒間引きをし、濃厚な味わいを引き出しています。手作業でしかこの味わいは出せません！回転寿司と職人の寿司のような違いだと思ってください🫡

Starting this week, we’re offering the early-ripening “Queen Nina” in limited quantities!

With its elegant aroma, flavor, and beautiful color, this grape truly lives up to its “Queen” name.
It’s been gaining popularity in recent years!
Since we harvest each bunch by hand, carefully checking the color of every single one, quantities are very limited—so if you’re looking for some, please come by soon! 😊👍🏽
