It turns out that robotic milkers don't work well with cows that are on pasture, at least not a large herd that has to walk 1.5 miles back to the milking shed, simply too far for the girls. Camelot Dairy is converting back to a milking parlor. Jim and I changed farms back in June, and are now managing a 650 cow freestall dairy in New Zealand. Excited to be back on a non-pasture based dairy, just not our style. :)

Our last day at Disney,survived the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios and a crazy roller coaster ride. Had such a great time!!! Tomorrow back to traveling :)

Looks like we sold the cows just in time. Ernie called and said an ice storm collapsed the shade in pen 3. If the cows were still there, it might have killed over 100 cows. Other farms were not so lucky.
