Yesterday I had the honor of feeding our future—the USD Upward Bound students. (I didn't get to snap a picture) I'll forever say this... There is something special about serving a home-cooked meal and watching young people gather around a table together.
Seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and feeling the energy they brought into the room was a gift. For a little while, food became more than just a meal—it became connection, comfort, and community.
As someone who believes our youth are the future, it was a privilege to serve them. My heart is full knowing that something made with love could bring so much joy.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your day. ❤️
