Good morning! It’s Thursday, June 18. And a big weekend ahead- Juneteenth, Father’s Day and the first day of summer!

It’ll be a light weekend on the stand. I just put out two beautiful bouquets of flowers and in the fridge is stocked with fresh greens, rhubarb and some sour cherries. They’ll be some strawberries out later today. I am going to visit my folks this weekend. Tim will be around to maintain the stand, so there will be plenty of jam and fresh herbs out all weekend as well as whatever else he can rustle up out of the garden.

The exciting news in the garden is there will be squash - zucchini and summer squash ready probably by the end of the weekend to early next week so look out for that post

Good morning! It’s Tuesday, June 16 and a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

A few good things on the stand today. The fridge is full with two containers of beautiful looking arugula. I just thinned the Pak Choi and if you love young tender greens I have a container of those out as well. We have one container of strawberries. There should be some sour cherries out later this afternoon.

I just picked two beautiful bouquets of flowers. We still have probably a dozen or so nice looking tomato plants. Especially since Father’s Day is coming up that might be a nice gift for Dad. The varieties I have left are big beef and Brandywine pink- both beefsteaks, and one cherry tomato. I also have a variety of pepper plants left as well as some eggplant.

also on the stand is a selection of strawberry jam, strawberry, rhubarb jam, and some salsa, as well as fresh cut herbs.

Good morning! It’s Sunday, June 14. And another beautiful day ahead!

Stand is stocked today with lots of good stuff. I have out every kind of herb imaginable. New additions are cilantro, marjoram, rosemary, and are the usual suspects. The only thing I don’t have out right now is basil. That was slow this year due to those cold nights in late spring. But basil should be coming in in a couple of weeks.

In the fridge, I just put out a container of sour cherries. I planted the trees a couple years ago to make jam and still have not had enough cherries for that, but they are good baked into a muffin scone or tart- or just sprinkle with sugar and use them as a topping for ice cream. Also, today are two generous containers of arugula and another container of garlic scapes as well as rhubarb.

I just put out another bouquet of flowers so there are two bouquets on the stand to brighten your day and the coming week.

Garden is starting to pop up nicely. We should see some squash coming in in a couple of weeks and cucumbers won’t be far behind. Have a great day everybody!

Good morning it’s Saturday, June 13. And a beautiful morning out there today!

Fresh is best and there’s some nice things on the stand this morning. I just picked a small basket of berries. Our strawberries are super sweet! In the fridge there is fresh picked arugula and garlic scapes. We should be harvesting garlic in another week or so. I planted some unique varieties so I’m excited for it this year. I just put out another beautiful bouquet of flowers. And I do have a smattering of vegetable plant still available.

Plenty of strawberry and strawberry rhubarb jam stand as well as salsa, and homemade peach barbecue sauce. Add as usual fresh herbs as well.

Good morning! It’s Friday, June 12 and a steamy day out there today.

Lots of good stuff on the stand today. I made more batches of strawberry and strawberry rhubarb jam from our very own strawberries. Both available today. In the fridge I have a couple small baskets of just picked strawberries. Some beautiful looking arugula and the last of the garlic scapes. I pulled a bunch of green onions and cut fresh herbs. There are two bunches of fresh flowers as well as some potted herbs.

Plant sale is winding down. I still have a small selection of beef, steak, tomatoes, some Brandywine, heirloom tomatoes, and a selection of pepper & eggplant plants.

Good morning! It is Wednesday, June 10 and a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Strawberry jam is the star of the stand today I have strawberry and strawberry rhubarb out. I just picked some beautiful looking arugula, which is in the fridge with garlic scapes and a small basket of berries. Also a beautiful bouquet of flowers to brighten your day. And as always bunches fresh herbs.

Last call for tomato and pepper plants! Plant sale is winding down and I will be wrapping that up by the weekend. I will have some larger veggie plants available for the next month or so.

Good morning! It’s Monday, June 8 and a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Yesterday I was busy making jam. Strawberry and strawberry rhubarb are available today at the stand. I just put out a beautiful bouquet of flowers. In the fridge I have a small basket of berries, some fresh picked arugula, rhubarb and garlic scapes. The garlic is looking great this year!

Still have a selection of tomato and pepper plants as well as some eggplant plants out. Last week I put a couple of planters of mint and lavender out those are available. And as usual fresh herbs in the stand as well.

Thank you to all who are returning containers. I definitely can use glass jars for canning and any plastic containers- these help me keep my costs down and keep the prices reasonable.

Good morning! It’s Friday, June 5. Happy Friday!

I have some good stuff on the stand today. The strawberries have started in the early bird gets the strawberries. I have a small pint in the fridge. Also a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Garlic scapes are coming in and we have some of those in the fridge as well as a nice container of just picked arugula.

I just potted up some fresh herbs. I have mint, rosemary, and lavender plants for sale. Last call for tomato pepper and eggplant plants. I will have those out all weekend and through next week.

Strawberry jam will be available starting Monday.

Good morning! It’s Thursday, June 4 and a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Spring is marching towards summer, and that means garlic scape season is upon us- I just cut the first ones today. That is in the fridge along with a nice container of arugula. Just picked all fresh herbs- the dill is looking great this year. I have a few bundles of that out on the stand. And a lovely bouquet of flowers to brighten your day.

Plant sale is winding down. I still have some good looking beefsteak tomato plants left. And a full tray of Italian fry pepper plants and Hungarian wax pepper plants. Along with a few other miscellaneous varieties. I’ll probably be wrapping that up by the end of next week.

Good morning! It’s Monday, June 1st- hope everyone had a nice weekend!

It was a chilly start yesterday. 36°. We lost some of our cucumber and squash plants from the stress of the cold and the wind. Hopefully that’ll be the last of the cold nights! On the stand today - I just put out a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I have a really good selection of tomato plants left. I started some late and these plants are maturing beautifully. (Mostly beef steak varieties with a couple of cherries). I have left some Italian frying peppers plants, and Hungarian banana peppers and a smattering of other varieties. In the fridge, we have fresh cut rhubarb and some arugula. I have some cut herbs as well out.

Later this week, I will have some more potted herbs and flowers And strawberry season should begin in another week or so. Have a great day everybody!
