Good morning! It’s Friday, August 28. The weekend is almost here!

We have lots of great stuff on the stand this weekend. Harvest is in full swing. Tomatoes are back and we have a couple of baskets of larger tomatoes as well as pints of mixed cherries. Speaking of cherries we also have hot cherry peppers ready to go for your favorite recipe. It’s beanapoolza and in the fridge we have Italian heirloom green beans, purple beans, regular green beans, yellow beans- as well as arugula, and a mixed bag of lettuce. Other veggies include potatoes and some peppers, hot and sweet.

We have a great selection of pickles, salsas and all sorts of jam- look for our entries this year in the Hebron Fair!

Sorry, no bread this weekend but we will be bringing the bread back in a few weeks

Good morning it’s Monday, August 24 and a beautiful day ahead

Thank you everyone for coming out this weekend and supporting the stand. We really appreciate it. Stand is stocked this morning with a small selection of vegetables, and we do have some beautiful local watermelon. Field picked yesterday by Patti in the rain 🙂. And from that watermelon, we have out some zesty watermelon jelly - ingredients are watermelon, sugar, pectin, cider vinegar, lemon juice and lemon verbena. If you love watermelon, it’s delicious.

We also have a couple pints of cherry tomatoes, a small selection of tomatoes and peppers. There is a big basket of cucumbers and some purple and Italian heirloom green beans. Some squash and as usual 2 beautiful bouquet of flowers to brighten your day.

A few were asking about tomatoes yesterday, and the next big crop of tomato’s should be coming in by the end of the week

Good morning! It’s Sunday, August 23. And a dreary day out there a good day to in to a cooking project or watching a movie!

But before you do that, stop by little stand today because we have all those things that will make your day even better! Fresh is best and we just put out all fresh herbs. We have beautiful local butter and sugar corn. In the fridge there are delicious sourdough cinnamon rolls and raspberry cheesecake cinnamon rolls. We also have out a limited selection of brownies and sourdough chocolate chip cookies. All baked by Lindsey Faithfully-Rooted Homestead

In the veggie department - we have plenty of cucumbers, all sorts of beans and an assortment of summer squash as well as baskets of salad size and cherry tomatoes, peppers both hot and sweet.

Also a great selection of pickles and jams! As well as 2 beautiful bouquets of flowers to brighten your day!

Good morning it’s Saturday, August 22- last weekend before school starts, but we aren’t done with summer yet!

If you’re in the area, this is the day to stop by the stand. This morning we are full of all sorts of yummy baked goods from Faithfully-Rooted Homestead. We have sourdough chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and cinnamon rolls. Later this morning, we will have local butter and sugar corn out as well.

For all the jam fans out there we have two special jams out this morning. For those of you have been shopping in the stand you may have noticed over the years we have been selling small amounts of pink lemonade blueberries. This year we’ve saved all that the bush produced and made a specialty pink lemonade blueberry jam. It’s delicious with overtones of tropical citrus as well as an underlying blueberry flavor. We also cooked up a pink lemonade blueberry and pine berry jam. For those of you who travel to Florida in the winter time, pine berries are the pink strawberries also with a pineapple overtone. All the fruit has been grown here in our garden.

And then we have the usual assortment of summer vegetables. And fresh flowers to brighten your day.

Good morning! It’s Thursday, August 20 and a beautiful start to the day!

Lots of variety on the stand today. We have plenty of baskets of small tomatoes. A couple of larger ones. We should have a fair amount of large tomatoes over the weekend. We have baskets of peppers- hot and sweet. In the fridge We have Italian heirloom green beans, a nice mixed bag of lettuce, a bag of chicory and just picked rhubarb. We just dug a good size basket of potatoes. And the jam and pickles section is full with salsa, pickles, jam, and we just put out the pickled peppers.

Tomorrow will be bread day we will have artesian sourdough, and all sorts of other sourdough sweets. That should be available by late morning.

Good morning it’s Wednesday, August 19 and it’s going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

We have some great looking melons out in the stand today. Locally sourced from our friends farm in Glastonbury - organically grown. And a great selection of other summer Vegetables. We have a big basket of cucumbers and all sorts of summer squash and zucchini. We have some eggplant. We have several small containers of cherry tomatoes and salad size tomatoes. (The larger tomatoes has slowed a bit for ripening.)

In the fridge, there are bags of yellow beans. And Italian heirloom green beans. A bag of lettuce and some rhubarb. And always 2 beautiful bouquets to brighten your day.

We will be featuring artesian sourdough bread, cookies and other sweets on the stand this weekend. Bread will arrive on Friday!

Somebody left a phone on the shelf in the farm stand. I am going to leave it for the time being in case you come back this afternoon to pick it up. If nobody claims it, then I will bring it in and you can message me.

Good morning! It’s Monday, August 17. Dreary morning out there and a good day to go to work if that’s on your agenda.

Lots of sunshine in the stand today. We have plenty of veggies out. All sorts of tomatoes, size of shapes and colors. We have a big basket of zucchini, summer squash, and eggplant. We have plenty of cucumbers. And all sorts of peppers, hot and sweet.

In the fridge, we have a big bag of mixed lettuce. And a few bags of green and yellow beans. I just put out some heirloom Italian green beans called Annellino. They have a great flavor and a fun C shape.

And the pickle and jam section is full with all sorts of pickles, salsa, and jams- as well as plenty of bunches of fresh herbs, and two bouquets of flowers to brighten your day

Good morning! It’s Saturday, August 15 and a beautiful day in the neighborhood

Lots of good things on the stand today. Corn has arrived and we have a big basket of butter and sugar corn available. We also have some loaves of sourdough bread. And then all sorts of great summer veggies
