Painted Wings Farm Painted Wings Farm is a small hobby farm where we raise and offer rare chicken breeds. We offer hatching eggs and unsexed chicks.

Our flock is tested yearly for Avian Influenza, Pullorum and Mycoplasma, however we're not NPIP.

This handsome Shetland Hen rooster, Benson, decided to tuck his friend Gary safely under his wing. 🥹

While roosters often get a bad reputation, a good rooster's job is to watch over and protect his flock—and sometimes that means offering comfort, warmth, and a safe place to rest. Seeing moments like this reminds us why we love this breed so much.

Shetland Hens are known for being curious, social birds, and it's always wonderful to hear stories about their personalities shining through in their new homes.

Mokes is an 11-week-old Olive Egger rooster searching for his forever flock. He has a sweet, timid personality and has shown no signs of aggression.

As a first-generation Olive Egger, he comes from excellent breeding stock and carries fantastic genetics for producing future generations of colorful egg layers.

🏡 Free to a good home — we'd love to see him go to a family or flock where he'll be appreciated and well cared for.

Raising chickens, breeding, and selling eggs is a hobby for us, so a temporary drop in egg production is well worth it. Watching these moms work together to raise their adorable little ones is priceless and warms my heart every time I step into the coop. ❤️🐣
