Established in 2012, Hedley & Bennett was born to inspire a sense of dignity and pride in the kitchen. Founder and Creative Director Ellen Bennett recognized a recurring pattern in drab kitchen workwear: bland, generic, and essentially disposable uniforms that were completely uninspiring. Her roots in the kitchen created the vision to make people feel as amazing as the food they prepared. Through the community of culinary professionals, our aprons have turned into a nationwide trend. Hedley & Bennett is now the leading designer of aprons, constructing garments specifically for the makers of the world.

Take us back to COOK CAMP!!! 🏕️❤️

Dreamed up by our founder Founder | Designer | Author | Cook l Momma, Cook Camp brought nearly 200 chefs, restaurateurs, cookbook authors and food-world people together for one big summer camp day in LA.

No panels, no presentations, no conference energy. Just school buses, capture the flag, rock climbing, tie-dye, ice baths, acupuncture, great food, lots of laughing and a chance to actually hang out with each other.

The whole idea was simple: create a day for the people who spend their lives showing up for everyone else. A day to play, reset, get out of your comfort zone and leave with your pockets full of new friends.

Still can’t believe we pulled this off. Still thinking about all the little moments in between. The very first Cook Camp was pure magic. ✨

That same spirit is at the heart of Daisies. What started as an independent neighborhood restaurant has grown because Chicago showed up, and every bowl of handmade pasta is a reflection of that support.

Now, James Beard semifinalist, chef, and co-owner Joe is bringing those worlds together with a concept inspired by coastal Italian drinking traditions, Midwestern ingredients, and genuine hospitality.
